Signing the contract for the fuel supply system revamp of the reheating furnace in SSAB EMEA AB

With a great pleasure we are informing that with our long-term partner SSAB EMEA AB, worldwide known producer of high strength steel, ICS signed the contract for revamp of the combustion system for fuel supply system for the furnace with 152 MW firing power rate.

The aim of the project is to replace current oil system with natural gas system.
ICS scope of supply as a main contractor is to make the natural gas installation as well as auxiliary installations such as instrumentation nitrogen and purging nitrogen, starting from the main flowtrain through zone flowtrains, down to burner lines. In the project ICS is responsible for:

  • selection and delivery of the technological fittings for natural gas and nitrogen lines,
  • complete piping design including piping supports,
  • complete delivery and erection of the furnace piping,
  • participation in the system commissioning.

The project is divided into two steps, both of them shall finish in 2014.
