Signing the contract for the design of the boiler supply system with firing power rate 99 MW from coal powder to biomass and natural gas

We are glad to inform that our company signed the contract with Consortium Remak-Rozruch S.A. / WTS A.B. for the project concerning conversion of fuel supply of the boiler with firing power rate 99 MW OP-120 in Stalowa Wola Power Plant.

The project aims to change the current fuel which is coal powder for a renewable fuel which is forest and agro originating biomass as well as applying the natural gas as a start-up fuel.

In the project ICS company is responsible for natural gas installation design from the reduction stations to burner gas trains, biomass transportation installation from the hammer mills to the burners, air intake to the hammer mills and side air blowers, installation of the clean air for biomass powder transportation, air exhaust installation from the biomass transportation installation, and Fire Fly installation. For all installations ICS is responsible for delivery of the technical design of the support constructions.

ICS company delivers also reduction stations and burner gas trains for natural gas. ICS is responsible additionally for technical support during the erection and commissiong. The main Contractor in this project is Rafako S.A.
