Commissioning of the NET Installation – ICS222
We are pleased to announce that today boiler K13 has been commissioned. Together with the modernized boiler K12 and the RMD station, it forms a complete nitrogen oxides reduction installation at the Pruszków Combined Heat and Power Plant.
The scope of the investment included the delivery of a complete flue gas nitrogen oxides reduction system (the so-called DeNOx installation) for boiler No. K12 type WR25M and boiler No. K13 type WR25/12M, along with systems for reagent storage tanks, tanker unloading, and reagent distribution as part of the modernization of the aforementioned boilers, based on the company’s patented NewEcoTube (NET) technology.
As a result of this investment, the Pruszków plant has achieved the following benefits:
- Compliance with nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide emission limits at the target level of ≤ 300 mg/Nm³
- Low operating costs due to the stratification of the combustion process and the elimination of water injection into the combustion chamber
- High reliability of the installation.
