Completion of Boiler Modernization under Project ICS220
We are pleased to announce that on July 8, 2021, the last of the modernized boilers under project ICS220 was commissioned.
The scope of the investment included the delivery of a complete nitrogen oxides reduction system (so-called deNOx installation) for boiler No. K-1 type WR-25, boiler K-2 type WLM-25, boilers KP-3 and KP-4 type OR-32/50, and boiler K-5 type WR-40, along with systems for reagent storage tanks, tanker unloading, and reagent distribution as part of the modernization of the above-mentioned boilers, based on the company’s patented NewEcoTube (NET) technology.
Benefits achieved after modernization:

Compliance with nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide emission limits at the assumed level of NOx ≤ 150 mg/Nm³.

Low operating costs of the installation due to combustion process stratification and no need for water injection into the combustion chamber.
