Modernization of Boilers and Installation of Nitrogen Oxides Reduction System at MPEC Włocławek – ICS185
ICS S.A. developed and implemented a technological project for the modernization of boilers K1, K2, K3, and K4, as well as the installation of a nitrogen oxides (NOx) reduction system at Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej Sp. z o.o. in Włocławek.
The project involved the implementation of technology enabling the reduction of nitrogen oxide emissions to the level of 180 mg/Nm³ and the limitation of ammonia (NH₃) content in flue gases to below 10 mg/Nm³. These parameters refer to dry flue gases, calculated for 6% oxygen content.
As a result of the project’s implementation, the ecological efficiency of the boilers was significantly improved, contributing to the reduction of atmospheric pollutant emissions and enhancing the efficiency of MPEC Włocławek’s district heating system.
