Completion of the trial operation of the mine gas and thermal oil combustion system under Project ICS279
On March 30, 2025, the trial operation of the variable-composition mine gas combustion system (methane content from 30 % to 60 %) and thermal oil for the 15 MW hot-water boiler located at PGNiG TERMIKA Energetyka Przemysłowa S.A., Jastrzębie-Zdrój Plant, as well as of the equipment and valves for the fuel and combustion-air supply installations, was successfully completed. The burner was handed over for operation on March 30, 2025.
