A multienergy boiler plant is a system designed to generate thermal energy in the form of warm/hot water or process steam using a fire-tube boiler. Depending on requirements, either the hot-water or steam boiler is equipped with a multi-fuel pulverized-fuel/oil/gas burner. Additionally, the boiler incorporates an electric heating system, increasing the operational flexibility of the boiler plant. The system also includes fuel and water storage/preparation units as well as flue-gas treatment systems, ensuring compliance with all current environmental regulations.
Thanks to its design and functionality, the multi-energy boiler plant enables the efficient utilization of various renewable energy sources, such as:
- biomass;
- biogas/biomethane;
- bio-oil;
- “green” electrical energy.
Multi-energy boiler plant parameters:
- System nominal capacity: from several to several dozen tonnes per hour of wet steam or warm/hot water (depending on requirements, the system may be equipped with multiple steam or hot-water boilers);
- Feed steam pressure up to 24 bar (g),
- Dynamic boiler operation on each fuel in the range of 20 – 100 % of nominal capacity
- Use of electric heaters extends the range to 0 – 120 % of nominal capacity;
- Compact footprint – for a 5 t/h system: 22.5 m × 20.1 m.
